Pixar's Up is inspirational.
Up is a 2009 animated feature film from Pixar Studios and it has since won multiple awards including Best Animated Feature Film at the Oscars. Dahn yoga participants and their family members will likely enjoy this fanciful film that takes viewers on a trip across continents in a house lifted by countless helium air balloons.
Carl Fredricksen is old and grumpy. He used to be a shy boy who didn't speak very much, until he met the most talkative and lovely girl – Ellie. However, Ellie has passed away and Carl is now old and seems to just be going through the days. That is, until Russell, a young Wilderness Explorer – something of a Boy Scout – comes knocking on his door asking if Carl can help him earn the "Assisting the Elderly" badge of merit.
Carl and Russell proceed on an adventure that takes them to South America. They travel by house, meaning that their house is attached to hundreds, maybe even thousands, of balloons which lift the house up into the air. Carl will take part in a journey of self discovery, in which he regains a sense of life and sees the meaning in his existence.
