Enjoy the beaches of the Galapagos Islands
Aquatic excursions do wonders for the body, helping to keep individuals in good health. While vacationing this summer, tourists should consider a visit to the Galapagos, where there are plenty of activities they can enjoy that are great for the body and mind.
The Galapagos is well known as one of the best diving destinations in the world, with its thriving marine environment and biodiversity providing some amazing sights for underwater adventurers.
Vacationers will not want to miss out on a trip to Darwin and Wolf Islands. Both of these areas are home to hammerhead and whale sharks, the latter of which is the largest fish in the world. Visitors can also see bright coral, sea turtles and many colorful schools of fish.
Although the Galapagos is one of the ultimate destinations for divers all around the world, it may not be the best place to begin for those who are new to the activity. The waters in this area should be navigated by experienced divers, as the currents, surges and cold water may not be conducive to a positive learning experience.
