Have loads of outdoor fun in Newfoundland and Labrador
Friday, 17 June 2011
One thing that those in Dahn Yoga classes learn is the importance of appreciating the earth, and those who like to travel can do so by seeing some of the most beautiful natural landscapes that it has to offer. For example, the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador is known for this type of beauty and is well worth a trip to the area.
The province is home to two beautiful national parks – Gros Morne and Terra Nova – where vacationers will be able to discover a bevy of flora and fauna. They can also embark on a hiking excursion in either park, as there are trails for all ages and fitness levels. There is also the TransCanada Trail for those who want to go hiking, which follows the old Canadian rail route throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
For those who are visiting in the winter, the province is a prime destination for seasonal sports. Toruists can go skiing at Marble Mountain or Blow-Me-Down, or they can go snowmobiling in Stephenville, which is where many people who participate in the sport go for their adventures.
