Imagine a group of individuals dressed in light, loose-fitting clothing, posing in a park at sunrise. They are breathing deeply, making slow, measured movements with their limbs as they reach for the sky. This peaceful scene represents the energy healing therapy of tai chi, an ancient Eastern technique that may help enhance multiple aspects of one's health, including the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

The activity is popular among people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels, and welcomes everyone from the most experienced to those who have only recently been introduced. Whether an individual is looking for tai chi for beginners or a more advanced class, there is something for everyone.

Recently, the Conway Daily Sun reported that the New England branch of the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in Boston, Massachusetts. The event, which will be held at the John Fuller School, will feature performances from the city's Chinese Dance Group as well as demonstrations of tai chi.

"We have members of all ages and physical abilities who participate in our classes," said Donna Stuart, who serves as president of the New England branch, quoted by the news source. "Practiced diligently, tai chi cultivates both body and mind to restore and maintain good health."

She added that attendees have a chance to learn how tai chi has helped members of the organization improve their health and well-being.

Stuart explained that the body undergoes positive changes as one practices tai chi, which is why millions of Americans are engaging in the calming regimen on a regular basis. Practicing the holistic mind-body system can bring them inner peace and allow them to optimize their well-being.
